But when I got the idea to make these dark chocolate vegan almond joy
cups, I knew I'd have to do something I haven't done in over two years and make my own
homemade coconut butter.

butter cups, I opted for making my own
homemade chocolate with three simple ingredients — cocao
butter, cocao powder and
coconut nectar — after being inspired by Jessie (Faring Well) and Sarah (My New Roots).

homemade chocolate method, if you'd like to too here it is: melt 1
cup of raw cacao
butter in the double boiler; remove from the heat and add 1/2
cup of
coconut sugar plus 1/4 teaspoon ground vanilla bean; whisk well and add 1
cup raw cacao powder.
