When I was looking for honey inspiration, I came across
honey butter recipes... It must be a delicious way to have those honey cheddar bread..
Not exact matches
I have eaten this two days in a row — the first with my own parred down version of just
honey and original PB2 (peanut
butter) swirled in and topped with bananas then the second time following your
recipe exactly (I prefer my porridge less «busy» but felt a little adventurous and wanted to give your combination a try).
It combines peanut
butter,
honey, oats and grains, but feel free to use any kind of nut, grains, seeds or even dried fruit in the mixture — just stick to the quantities in the
recipe, and you'll get a different kind of energy bars each and every time.
If you don't have a chocolate factory waiting for you there, it's okay, since this creative
recipe uses only a mini cupcake tin and simple ingredients such as almond
butter, maple syrup, raw
honey, coconut oil, vanilla, and sea salt — and that's it!
In my opinion,
honey and nuts go together like peanut
butter and jelly and cookies and milk, so this
recipe pretty much superceded everything else on my agenda.
Could you please advise how much sugar and
butter I can use in place of
honey and applesauce for this
recipe?
:D I can never really leave a
recipe alone, so I added and changed up some things: 1 / 2c
honey -LCB- fresh from a hive upstate -RCB-, a handful of oats, a couple dashes of ground ginger, 1/2 as much
butter -LCB- unsalted -RCB-, with some walnut oil to compensate, and some extra burbon.
Flavorful, yes, but the
recipes are filled with
butter or olive oil,
honey, nuts, phyllo, and cheeses, so they are not typically low calorie, low fat, or low sugar.
This
recipe would be absolutely perfect for making up a big batch on Sunday and portioning into individual servings for a dynamite breakfast during the week — just prep through stirring in the peanut
butter and
honey and add your toppings right before eating.

butter (which is pretty much our go - to substitution), and then I came across this
recipe from The Prairie Homestead, which not only uses coconut oil but also substitutes
honey for sugar.
Beyond that, the
recipe basically involves melting together the coconut oil /
butter, peanut
butter, and
honey, then stirring the resulting mixture into a bowl of rolled oats and roasted peanuts.
I used coconut oil, maple syrup and vegan chocolate chips in the
recipe below to make these vegan, but you can use
butter and
honey with delicious results.
