Here are my four recipes for

honey face wash and its composition of gluconic acid and enzymes do amazing things — brighten skin, promote cell renewal, and balance pH to name a few — but it is not awesome at removing mascara.
My favorite has to be my
healing honey face mask — it's manuka (or raw) honey, turmeric, lemon and a drop of tea tree oil.
I also ditched my harsh cleansers and acne creams and instead use pure jojoba oil to remove my makeup and cleanse my face, and make a lemon -
honey face mask once or twice a week.
