NEW YORK (CBSNewYork / AP)-- New York City plans to
honor the two police officers killed in an
ambush this month
by naming streets near their homes for them.
While there was a certain
honor and set of mores among the samurai culture, pre-modern Japan's history was loaded with endless violent conflicts between rival warlords, who used every means possible to win, including deceit,
ambush, assassination through poisonings or raids
by ninja on sleeping competitors and their families.
