that tactic worked fantastically at the star of this season where walcott performed and it worked brilliantly for the team but after the injury of Theo, giroud had his dry patch and theo almost did nt even try... and the year before welbeck played reaaaally bad as a starting striker and scored 4 goals or something i think, if he had one worldclass or equally good striker as giroud, we would have enough and wenger could rotate them according to the patch / form of giroud like what he intended to do with walcott and giroud, which i had high hopes for but sadly only worked for half the season

I do nt think its his knee as much, but more a groin issue, and its something really uncomfortable to play with, i hope he recovers soon, while walcott is a goal threat i think the ox offers more in regards to the team's formAtion.

I think the sensible option would be sign someone like Benzema if possible, that is a proven goal scorer instead of taking unecessary risks that bank on the hopes of someone like walcott remaining injury free and akpom pulling a «harry kane» this season.

i was very impressed with coquelin but we could all see the way newcastle was fowling him im worried it only a matter of time before his injured so we need suffcient cover arteta is ok but if something happens to coquelin (i pray it doesn't) where his out for a couple of games arteta can not play a bunch of games for 90 mins all the time so im hoping arsene is looking at a DM has we speak also on theo, to be fair to him he actually did ok great movement but it brings me to think that giroud and walcott can play together in a 442 formation because giroud can provided the hold up play for walcott to make runs and walcott can make the runs to allow space for giroud if walcott has gioroud finishing and giroud walcott pace we properly would be with man city at the top of the league

Great result for the confidence of the lads, never mind it was against sydney fc.Good to see some of the youngsters step up plus walcott and others had a fairly descent game tbh although they missed chances but still it's pre season after a couple of months of holidays.Laca scoring was the highlight for me but somewhere in my mind I already knew him scoring was inevitable.Let us hope he scores loads of these not only now but over the course of the whole season to win us A TROPHY never mind those recent fa cups and community sheilds.But looks like the real deal already.
