Last week saw Arsenal complete the transfer
of Mohamed Elneny from Basel and today we added a
new contract for our Spanish left back Nacho Monreal and while a lit
of Arsenal fans are
hoping for or expecting more from the club, with most
of them hankering for another
striker, Smith is not and he does not think we need any more players to win the league this season.
We need a
new striker certainly, I
hope Wolfsburg pull through in their interest
of Giroud so we can be rid
of him and his measly 13 goals, I was shocked to see that Jermaine Defoe at relegation threatened Sunderland has 15 goals which is more than Giroud while playing with worse players!

Let's
hope we get to see some more

new striker in the near future, because hopefully he'll follow the same path as our other summer signings and prove to be another excellent buy.
But if, as I expect, the manager restricts himself to just a couple
of new signings then I
hope that they are a top quality defensive midfielder and a proven
striker and I would love that
striker to be the player that The Mirror has us and Manchester United heavily linked with, Pierre Emerick - Aubameyang.

new contract but also CHUBA AKPOM!!? This kid has the potential to be our next Thierry, from what I've seen
of him he deserves to be ahead
