In Untitled [8/71] 1971 (T12243), painted in the year before he produced T12239, the lines of the grid traverse the entire canvas with
horizontal yellow stripes imposed over vertical black ones.
They have
horizontal yellow stripes on the underside of their tail feathers, yellow spots on the flight feathers of their wings, a grey body, crest, and face, as well as an orange patch on each cheek.
Not exact matches
Another suggestion for how the rainbow flag originated is that at college campuses during the 1960s, some people demonstrated for world peace by carrying a Flag of the Races (also called the Flag of the Human Race) with five
horizontal stripes (from top to bottom they were red, black, brown,
yellow, and white).
The bikini bottoms have black and white,

yellow; s angled
stripes of pinkish - white and black; thin vertical streaks of black and gray; thick red and blue
horizontal panels; imprecise strips of black and gray; and broad bands of
yellow and black.
Highlighting the artist's development, the display also includes two of her «
stripe» paintings, the early black - and - white
Horizontal Vibration (1961) and the recent colour diptych Red Modulation (
Yellow and Orange)(2014 — 13).
