The famed theme park is home to every type of ride imaginable, from classic teacups to the
horror film - inspired
Saw roller - coaster (a great excuse to hold hands in you're scared!)
Another
film that went on to have it's own franchise pushed the boundaries of
horror, made on a shoestring budget and executed in the most simplest of terms was
Saw.
Any
horror movie fan can
see that this
film has been made with a gleeful love of the genre, flaws and all, and the final half - hour delivers one of the greatest visually spectacular finales I have
seen all year (even compared to that of another Joss Whedon project, The Avengers).
From the title, description, and most of the footage you've probably
seen, The Cabin in the Woods looks like the same awful, recycled
horror film you've
seen over and over.
One moment will have smart phone animations barraging the screen, the next scene will have some random act of bullying, and then the movie remembers it's supposed to be a
horror film and for two seconds, you
see the girls being
filmed by someone.
I went in this movie expecting a cheap slasher
horror film, but I was having high expectations, because it has been announced in development since 2009, what I got was way too more in depth than I was barging for, this movie can't be reviewed without spoiling it, what I have to say is...
SEE THE CABIN IN THE WOODS, it is different dark comedy with mystery and great visuals (hint)

When I first
saw the trailer for this movie I thought it was good to be another awful
horror film, but the twist led by the characters played by Bradley Whitford and Richard Jenkins makes this one of the most inventive
horror films I've
seen in a while.
Stir of Echoes is an underrated
film and definitely should be
seen by every
horror fan.
It was so refreshing not to
see the
film under so much CGI like a lot of recent
Horror films, and there was a nice amount of stunt work involved!
What I mean by that is just
seeing horror movies from countries that, realistically speaking, aren't actually known for their
horror films.
If you've
seen a lot of
horror movies form before 1970 you can
see how Lewis ushers
horror into a new gorier era with this
film.
Fallen is a remarkable psychological
horror film that definitely is a must
see.
I Know What You Did Last Summer is a poor excuse for a
horror film, and I've never
seen anything as bad as this.
If they come out with more
films, i would definitely go
see them and i advise anyone that enjoys effective
horror to do so as well.
Blood Car could have been better, but for what it is, it's a decent
film worth
seeing if you love ridiculous
horror films.
The Witch is truly the most disturbing
horror film i have
seen in years and i don't say that lightly.
This
film is a change of pace from many of the Sci Fi /
Horror films that we have
seen.
If your a fan of the
saw franchise or
horror, in general, this
film is a must -

seen as an introduction to a
horror film for people who are new to the genre.
The lack of originality is what makes this
film not worth
seeing, and the
film's script is poorly written as if the filmmakers didn't care about turning out a good

I only
saw this movie because we couldn't get into Blair Witch and we were all psyched to
see a
horror film.
This is one of the few
horror films I've
seen that I would describe as beautiful and it's no wonder coming from Herzog.
Sometimes
horror films work best when your imagination is required to
see what is behind that door — and not some fancy visual effect by ILM and Tippet Studios.

film doesn't get as much love from Variety, whose Justin Chang
sees «some modestly campy pleasures» without «the delirious trash -

Best
