horror films are made, blah blah blah — I'm not going to reiterate what's already been said a thousand times about Romero's body of work.
When a typical
horror film is made, they complain and when a fresh and original idea is penned into a film, they still complain.

Pearce's script perhaps errs a little in
making Moll's family almost inhumanly ghastly, though such exaggeration
is understable in a
film partially fashioned as a warped adult fairytale — at least, until the

be more than jump scares to
be good, and this one
is accompanied by a good moral of growth, facing your fears, and has a good amount of humor to

Not that it matters, but as personal as the director can
make, the

film is personal for all the people in Middle East.
Far
be it from me to expect any sort of cerebral experience from a slasher about a doll, but it
's evident that a degree of thought DID go into this, which
makes its overall failure as a
horror film all the more disappointing.

Well, you can't expect too much from a show
made in 2015 even if it
is somehow connected to your most beloved
horror film franchise.
Though it does have its moments and a nice, creepy atmosphere, it seems more like a movie
made for TV, with cheap production values, a lot of annoying clichés and a derivative plot that brings to mind a thousand better
horror films that you could
be watching instead.
The lack of originality

horror film, it borrows liberally from the art direction and creature designs of the Silent Hill games, including several monsters specific to Silent Hill 2 and a slew of sets from Silent Hill 3 (already the first game in the series to drift away from what
