Yes I may be a
big horror nut, but this film didn't pack a punch as far as being «scary» or «frightening».
It's still good, don't get me wrong, and the vast majority of viewers, particularly
avid horror nuts and Whedon fans will get a lot out of it, but Joss «The Boss» did stumble at the last hurdle trying to prove himself talented at all styles of filmmaking (like he needed to!)
For horror nuts (David Lynch fans especially), there could definitely be something to unpack here.

my horror nut bona fides clear in the previous entry, you might expect me to lavish praise on Wes Craven's 1989 wacko flick recently given the Scream Factory treatment, but you'd be wrong.

you horror nuts have seen The Confession of Fred Krueger fan film by now, but have you heard the director's commentary?
