Often these critters take on the same hue as
the host soft coral and can be hard to spot.
The fame comes from its topography as a colorful ridge runs west - east
hosting soft coral, gorgonians, hard coral and, with a gentle current, as it was the case during our dive, schooling fish.

At approximately 20 meters there is excellent
soft coral growth and numerous sea fans that
host the tiniest of pygmy seahorses.

hosting plenty of xenia specimens, some macro life was found: nudibranchs, like the Chromodoris and Flabellina, flatworms, Orangutan and Porcelain Crab and also the Raja Ampat Denise Pygmy Seahorse!

host an array of hard and
soft corals and is a great spot to see large sea turtles!
The end of the dive happened in a beautiful shallow plateau that
hosts a lot of different, colorful
soft coral species lighted by the sunny afternoon we had.
The diversity and density of both hard and
soft coral species was astonishing and
hosted different species of reef fishes like Parrotfish, Wrasses, Anthias, Damselfish of a vast array of colors.
Pygmy sea horses decorate the fans, allied cowries are nestled on the
soft corals and you'll find a
host of different nudibranchs and flat worms.
Mill Channel is
host to some incredible
soft corals, and is known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific.
The visibility was slightly more limited than on the previous two dives (around 15 meters / 50 feet) and the current was slightly stronger but none of these factores keep the divers from enjoying the sights of Whitetip, Grey Reef and other pelagics cruising along this reef
hosting a lot of fish and great
coral cover, both hard and
soft species.
