One, because this version of hot chocolate is like a hug in my mouth, and two, this drink is extremely nourishing in oh so many ways.

Since I wasn't feeling that great this past Friday, I drank lots of this Coconut Cinnamon Hot Chocolate, chai tea, green tea, green juice and lemon water.

We usually bought a liter of plant - based milk once or two times a week as we both love to make warm drinks such as hot chocolate, matcha latte, and turmeric latte during the freezing winter.

Chocolate chip cookies... they're a go - to comfort snack to match that cool refreshing glass of almond milk or your favourite hot drink during the day or evening.

Our hosts always served hot chocolate spiked with Peppermint Schnapps (among other alcoholic beverages); tasty, yes, but you wouldn't want to drink more than a few of those doozies.

Although there's plenty of tequila and mezcal on Volfson's cocktail menu, her nonalcoholic offerings go deep, too — think multiple agua frescas; café con leches with housemade coconut and cashew milks; a pre-Columbian hot chocolate - and - masa drink called atole.

Like many of my drink recipes, this hot chocolate is made in a blender with whole, hippie - approved ingredients.

A small footprint doesn't mean a small mindset — heavily rotated wines, pasta sauces, bitters, soup mixes, spices, chocolate sauce, spreads, drink mixes, beans, hot sauces and more in veritable cornucopia of choices.

So you should probably drink a cup of hot chocolate with this breakfast brownie.

Because I know you were wondering... yes there's a myriad of low carb Starbucks drinks, but unfortunately there's no keto hot chocolate Starbucks currently carries.

Nothing beats homemade marshmallows... except for maybe homemade marshmallows in a cup of hot chocolate that you're drinking while wearing flannel;)

This is more of a coffee drink than a hot chocolate, but it was simply too yummy to leave out.

Speaking of drinks, Ethereal's drink offerings are pretty impressive, with pour over chocolate (roasted cocoa beans brewed pour - over style like coffee), cocoa tea (cocoa husks that are brewed like tea and have a light chocolate flavor), drinking chocolate (essentially a chocolate bar that is melted with half and half and water), hot chocolates and even a chocolate protein smoothie.

Whilst we are tucked up under our blankets drinking hot chocolate, birds are out there facing the harsh conditions of winter.

In France there is the famous cracotte which is a type of very light granola bar which you eat while drinking hot or cold chocolate milk (check out this healthy recipe for making your own chocolate powder).

I don't know where to start the fact that it is summer time and this top makes you think of baseball OR that it is summer time and I still drink hot chocolate from Starbucks.
