Tier two Ultimate Rewards cards, such
as Chase Sapphire Preferred ® Card and Ink Business Preferred ℠ Credit Card, allow you to
transfer your points to a number of different airline and

This means your points can be redeemed for one cent each

hotel partners, which can give you even more value per point.
They can also be redeemed
as gift cards and shopping
as well
as transferred to a number of airline and
hotel frequent travel
partners, including Delta, British Airways and Hilton.
Or, you could
transfer them to an airline or
hotel partner — such
as United, Southwest, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, or Marriott - to stretch them even further.
However, if you have a Chase card that allows you to
transfer your points to a variety of airline and
hotel partners as well
as discounts on UR purchases, you can pool your points under that account and increase their earning potential to $ 0.0125 or more.
You can
transfer your points at a 1:1 ratio to 11 airline and
hotel partners such
as United MileagePlus, British Airways Executive Club, Southwest Rapid Rewards, Marriott Rewards, and more.
These points can usually be redeemed through the credit card issuer or
transferred to travel
partners, such
as airlines or
hotels, to redeem on their website.

as Dan mentioned, cards that earn specific miles or
hotel points keep them in that program, whereas AMEX Membership Rewards and Chase Ultimate Rewards are flexible programs that hold points that you can
transfer out to various airline and
hotel partners.
Several benefits that are unique to this card include the 1 to 1
transfer of points to Chase's travel
partners, including airlines such
as Southwest (one of his loyalty program memberships), United, Korean Air, British Airways, and
hotel chains such
as Hyatt, Ritz - Carlton, Marriott (another one of his loyalty program memberships), and Priority Club.
Your bonus points are earned
as flexible Ultimate Rewards points which makes them useful for a broad range of
hotel, airline, and even train
transfer partners.
But
as an entry - level card, it can't do what other premium Chase cards — such
as Sapphire Preferred or Ink Cash — can do; namely,
transfer points to airline and
hotel partner programs.
Another option is to
transfer AMEX points to a frequent flyer
partner program, such
as Delta and JetBlue, or to a
hotel loyalty
partner program like Hilton and Starwood.
Some Chase cards allow you to
transfer points to select frequent travel programs (like airline
partners such
as United and Southwest, or
hotel partners such
as Hyatt and Marriott).
Generally speaking, the point value of
transferring AMEX MR to
hotel partners is not
as good
as transferring to airline
partners.
Membership Rewards can also be
transferred to
hotel partners, though this should only be done if absolutely necessary
as they are more valuable when
transferred to airlines.
Similar to AmEx Membership Reward points, Chase Ultimate Reward points can be used at a fixed value to book travel through Chase or
transferred to popular
hotel and airline
partners such
as United, Hyatt, Southwest and Marriott.
The American Express Membership Reward points can be used to book travel through AmEx or
transferred to
hotel and airline
partners such
as Delta, British Airways, Hilton and more than a dozen other loyalty programs.

Chase markets this card
as a cash back card because holding this card alone does not allow you to
transfer points to Chase's airline and
hotel partners.
However, please keep in mind that
transfer of these points to Chase's
hotel and airline
partners is only possible if you've any of the premium Chase credit cards such
as the Chase Ink Plus Business Credit Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve Card or the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card.
Any
hotel points
transferred by Marriott or any of the other Southwest
hotel partners transferred April 1st or later, are
as valid for earning a Companion Pass in 2017
as the points you
transferred in 2016.
