pump with both of my son and my daughter and it was a little bit different for both them based on their individual circumstances as far as their tongue ties and releases but generally I kept to a every 3
hours schedule for the first several months until I had a really solid milk supply I was stabilized in even if I've had two kids with tongue ties I've been blessed with over supply.
Throughout the rest of the day,
pump the normal length of time when you would typically
pump, ideally replicating baby's feeding
schedule if you are apart or the usual times that you would be
pumping (for example,
pump for 15 minutes every 3

pumping into my
schedule was to
pump about 30 minutes to an
hour after I nursed Avery for the first time in the morning.
This kind of
schedule will provide you with at least 3.5
hours of continuous rest that is from around 12:30 AM - 4 AM, as soon as you finish
pumping (granted that your baby will let you rest!).
She was like you know, «watch your
schedule this and this» and so, she was amazing like about like getting that done so, all of a sudden I was on this 3
hour thing she also brought the
pump to our station where the baby was.
So my first recommendation would be to stretch out your
pumping schedule / feeding
schedule to every 3
hours.
Pumping sessions are really hard to work into a daily
schedule that has me unable to take a bathroom break more than once in a 14
hour day.
But, I do often feel awkward when we have company over or when I go somewhere and don't nurse or
pump on my 3
