It's a pretty good movie and it definitely makes you question your realationships but the 2 and a half
hour run time are felt, and at
times it is
more awkward than enjoyable.
The film has a few poignant and clever things to say thematically, but unfortunately, it takes
more than its fair share of
time saying them, needlessly
running almost three
hours long.
The blend of dramatic tension and the overall sense of something sinister unfolding is what makes the film so effective, but given the film's two -
hour running time, I could have possibly enjoyed it
more were some of the scenes of «WE ARE A FAMILY BUT I AM MAD!»
Sorkin - y to the core, their dynamic is one of the film's real plus points:
more so than Molly's vexed relationship with her dad (Kevin Costner), which clogs up the works quite badly, and adds a whole half -
hour onto the
running time it didn't particularly need.

«Sieranevada» is one of a trio of films in competition whose

time, we learn that Takahata never delivers on budget or schedule.

Gray Matters goes from so - so to heart - crushingly bad over its

running time, chipping away at logic, comedy, and entertainment value as it delves
more and
more into the character we care about the least.
Killing zombies and exploring the world are
more than satisfying and the games twenty plus
hour run time guarantees that you will be spending a lot of
time traveling around and seeing everything this world has to offer.
The film's
running time is a swift two
hours; I wouldn't have minded an extra 30 minutes to learn
more about the rest of the civil rights pioneers (all real historical figures) who march arm - in - arm on the front lines with King, including Wendell Pierce's Reverend Hosea Williams and Tessa Thompson's Diane Nash.
It's smart, funny, sad, and intelligent, and despite the overriding message seeming mostly intangible, it still manages to offer enough food for thought to
more then justify its three
hour running time.

hours, this is another pulp novella extended to mock - epic length and it's to QT's credit — alongside Waltz, DiCaprio and Jackson — that Django Unchained supports its giant
