the house feel like fall.

And there's just so much going on at that age that makes it a tough, tough time — they don't really nap yet, their nighttime sleep is
falling apart (thank you 4 - month sleep regression), you may be back at work or seriously wondering what made you decide not to go back to work and either way it screws with your head, you probably haven't lost the baby weight yet and don't
feel sexy but then there's Scary Spice doing the cha - cha looking
like a brick
house, and your baby is probably not as fat as your doctor wants him or her to be, and it all just sucks.

feel that as a working mom we need to just also be represented... SAHMism is always so glorified, most of us who work
feel like we are failing our kids in some way... So I work a full day, I ferry the kids, once home I bathe them, cook for them, pack their lunches, sing - read stories - do homework, put them to sleep, clean the
house, do the budgeting, catch up with my family and friends online, have a coffe, run back to the kiddo moaning, whip out a boob to sush him back to sleep,
fall asleep exhausted and do it all over again the next day.
In order to get to academic success, kids have to
feel comfortable doing so many other more important things at this age
like being okay when you leave the
house, saying hello to the new kid in the class,
feeling comfortable in a body that's growing rapidly,
falling asleep peacefully at night.
It was nothing short of a miracle — we put our
house on the market 2 weeks ago and made an offer on the new
house but we were outbid and then the deal
fell through and then we were hopeful again and then it looked
like the higher offer was back on and it
felt like we lost that
house twice and then suddenly we got an offer on our
house and then the seller of the new
house accepted our offer!
With the
house purchase and move, I
feel like I haven't been taking enough time to enjoy my favorite season — and it's even harder to relish these last summer days with the temptation to shop for
fall pieces!

house... and not the latest autumn display at Hobby Lobby or Target.
Last week we had so much fun celebrating the first few days of
fall (even though it didn't
feel like fall with our 90 ° days) and decorating our
house for Halloween.
Somehow they
feel romantic and will definitely have your
house smelling
like fall.

But if I say that I actually had Shreddies and a mug of tea3 I start thinking about Coco - Pops and lemonade and Porridge and Dr Pepper and how I wasn't eating my breakfast in Egypt and there wasn't a rhinoceros in the room and Father wasn't wearing a diving suit and so on and even writing this makes me
feel shaky and scared,
like I do when I'm standing on the top of a very tall building and there are thousands of
houses and cars and people below me and my head is so full of all these things that I'm afraid that I'm going to forget to stand up straight and hang onto the rail and I'm going to
fall over and be killed.

house is pretty transitional in style overall, for

feel like we lean a little bit more toward farmhouse - style decor, which you'll notice when you peruse our favorite

I have so been enjoying the month of November — the mornings / days have finally been chilly, the leaves have been changing here in the south, the
house feels cozy with touches of
fall decor, and it just has finally
felt like fall!

house is ready for
Fall and finally, the temperatures

After a usually activity filled summer,
Fall feels like the perfect time time to hush the
house.
For the centerpiece, we picked up an assortment of
fall vegetables and flowers in our color scheme of plum, green, white and from our local market, plus a couple of things we had around the
house like pine cones, antlers, plush pumpkins and birch candlesticks to make the table
feel lush, festive, lively and mostly organic.
I love seasonal touches throughout the
house but I don't
like it
feeling too overwhelming so I
like to stick with subtle touches
like cozy throws and pillows for
fall (and winter) and a few pumpkins and some more branches from our yard.
If you
feel like it's a deja vu to be invited into my

LOL I'm due with my first child tomorrow so I've been doing some crazy
fall decorating around my
house and
feeling like a crazy person because we're technically still in the summer season, but now I'll be able to justify the transformation going on in my home.
I
feel like I'm a little behind fluffing my
house for the season -LCB- I usually do this September 1st due to my absolute love of
fall -RCB- but it is nice to at least have the kitchen reflect the current season.
But for now... With this warm weather, It really hasn't been
feeling like fall around here even though I had decorated around the
house a few weeks ago.
It definitely
feels like fall in our home, but still
feels like our
house... and not the latest autumn display at Hobby Lobby or Target.
Sometimes it's just the little simple tweaks and changes we do that makes our
house feel like it's changing with the season, instead of going full blown
FALL everywhere.
