We can set aside some time in the final term to produce a bank of quizzes that look back over previous topics, create
knowledge organisers for the first few units or check
how threshold concepts are introduced in existing lessons.
In the post William talks about
how he has used
knowledge organisers in Maths and his post details the practical application of them (which can be applied across curriculum areas).
In the coming years, I would like to trial the use of
Knowledge Organisers in my own practice and will, of course, let you know
how they go.
PE, art, music, drama, and technology will all provide additional sections of their
knowledge organiser dedicated to
how their subjects support the understanding that pupils will require to access our new, more challenging, reading schemes at Key Stage 3.
