Here's the drill, during the holidays we tend to eat a little too much when our eyes are
bigger than our stomaches and then when it's time for
dessert you don't know
how you can possibly fit more food into your tummy..
It was a
big hit at our family dinner, and judging by
how quickly the leftovers were eaten versus
how long the remaining pumpkin pie languished in the fridge, it was the clear winner of that
dessert battle.
The pancake is quite
big so we'd cut it into quarters and topped with Greek yoghurt and fresh sliced peach — I don't think that's
how Cypriots serve the pancake, but the flavours worked well together and we turned it into a great
dessert.

When I'm hosting dinner at home, I like to set up a side table for the food, usually my kitchen island, because it's quite
big, to hold everything and I like to display the
dessert, by using my sofa table — this way, there's a natural flow and the main dining table remains stress free and we can enjoy
how special it feels.
