I'm not sure
how I feel about January... the stillness of the shorter
days,
snow, rain.
I'm all cool with
snow and slightly chilly temperatures up to Christmas since I think I could be classified as an elf for
how much I love that time of year, BUT once the best
day of the year is over and gone, dreary January takes over.
I can't share your dislike of winter — it is summer and raging hot
days that fills me with dread (not to mention bushfires) but
snow is still a novelty for me — though I did love the edinburgh winters but I have heard
how harsh canadian winters can be and am not sure I would cope

Of course you'll probably have to watch Frozen for the 217402347th consecutive night in a row but hey, at least it sticks with the
snow day theme and if Frozen on Ice comes to town you'll probably have a decent shot being cast as Elsa considering
how many times «Let it Go» has gotten stuck in your head.
I always forget just
how fickle March tends to be, and get overly excited for all things spring, when I should just sit back and enjoy the ride that is 70 degree weather one
day, ice and
snow the next.
I don't know
how many times I had one of the boys fall to the floor in despair because he couldn't wear his
snow shoes in the hot summer or because their brother is wearing the Thomas the Train shirt that he wanted to wear that
day.

how it can transition perfectly into the spring.

There was actually
snow on the ground in DC yesterday morning, then it got progressively colder as the
day wore on - reminding me just

how important those school buildings and educators are for the nation's families — and not just because of the important academics they impart.
This week's
snow storm led to closings that lasted up to three
days for many schools across the state, forcing school officials to make tough decisions on
how to make up for the lost time.
But
how much do
snow days really hurt student achievement?
Many North Carolina school districts will have to make some tough decisions on
how to make up the recent

how much of a difference it makes, we're driving a handful of new FCA vehicles around a
snow - and ice - covered racetrack that, in summer, is used for track
days and driver training.
