You know: when most people get ready to write a
little something for the Christmas season, they fire up the Yule log, and they have a
little eggnog, and toss a
little tinsel, and eat a cookie, and then they have this
sweet smell on their breath as they talk about

how are we supposed to get God's message from a tiny
little level 1 hurricane with the
sweet name of Irene?
I know that dessert for one sounds a
little sad, but
how often do you crave something
sweet and then decide that making something super healthy yet really
sweet is either too hard or too complicated, and of course you probably don't want to end up with a whole fridge full of cake at the end!
I was a
little skeptical at first, but after having squid ink pasta I realized

sweet italian sausage removed from its casing and cooked with a
little olive oil in a heavy skillet, broken up into small pieces and moved around until many of the pieces are crisp; then add sliced and roughly - chopped fennel bulb, cooking until it is somewhat softened; then put a lid on the pan over very low heat while the risotto cooks; add it all together (with butter and parmesan) for the last 5 minutes of the risotto process.
And I love

little different with each batch because of the leftover mashed
sweet potato flavor.
While adding the
sweet and spicy elements, I always begin with a
little and keep adding till I am satisfied with
how it tastes.
It is
