By following five Atlanta - based couples, the film wants fervently to incorporate all its character's diverse fluff into one sitting, but such hopes are subverted to an emptily - flat experiment that pairs audiences with familiar faces acting out a
weak script, while the experimenters stand back and pray that the audience doesn't notice just in fact
how hollow it all really is.
It's difficult to understand
how such an accomplished cast gathered for such a
weak script, but then Winona Ryder, Keanu Reeves, and Gary Oldman weren't the immediate household names they are today, while Hopkins had just earned that status the year before.
Washington does well in his performance as Bobby but it feels like he phoned this one in, which I think says either a lot about the
