Our last trip to Disney he had unprecedented 3
hr naps every day in it — slept through lots of fun but also made it so we had fabulous long days out at the parks when we were fully prepared to leave and come back.
she wakes up two times a night and only takes 3 45 min to 1
hr naps a day.
My lil man has 2 1
hr naps a day and sleeps 7 - 7 I've had to work to this my man didn't just do it.
But now she still only takes 1
hr naps all day long.

day and seems to naturally slowly transitioning from 3.5 - 4
hr schedule.
She is not waking early out of
naps during the
day but I can't get her to sleep longer than 2 - 3
hrs at night at a time.
Her
naps have been 45 minutes since she was 8 weeks old (when she started sleeping 8
hrs) with a sporatic 2 hour
nap maybe once a
day or every other
day.
Sometimes she
naps for 2.5
hrs and sometimes she only goes for 1
hr four times that
day.
Chances are that if you have a child who is still
napping, then you might be looking at a 10
hr night and a 1 - 2
hr nap during the
day, versus a child who is done
napping.
Or you may have a newly turned 2 year old that is sleeping 8 pm to 6:30 am with a 1 hour
nap each
day for a total of 11.5
hrs per
day.
As they get older, their cycle will grow in multiples of 90 - staying awake for 3
hrs, then 4.5 etc. until they are around 1 year and begin to follow the clock (ie set
naps at the same time each
day).
He also
naps 2 x a
day for between 1 - 1.5
hrs with a third catnap (20 / 30 mins) Any ideas appreciated.
Trystan wakes somewhere between 7 and 9 generally, gerber cereal with fruit (whole container) and a 6oz bottle, play time,
nap around 11/12 for an
hr /
hr n a half, 1 pm lunch a veggie w / mixed grains and a 6oz bottle, then play time, snack of a gerber mixed fruit or fruit «smoothie», and a 4oz bottle, play until grandma and grandpa get home then
nap around 6 for about an hour, dinner gerber meat and veggie, play until 8/830, get ready for bed 8oz cereal bottle, then read a book and snuggle watching our nightly shows until Trystan falls asleep around 930/10 sometimes earlier depending how the
day went.
She still wakes up every 2
hrs at night for milk and barely
naps during the
day.
A bad
day is 40 mins and a good
day is 1.5
hrs, but 1
hr average per
nap.
He was sleeping great at night (4
hrs, feed and then 3
hrs) and
napping during
day until about 5.5 weeks.
For the past 5
days he has been all over the board though... eating on more of a 2 - 2.5
hr schedule, waking 45 mintues into a
nap, etc..
Since I was planning on going back to work as a teacher, this combination of a 4 -
hr feeding schedule and two long
naps early in the
day would be GREAT.
it worked like magic to restore her sleep, and she is now back on a 7p - 7a schedule where i am waking her again in the morning, with 2
naps a
day, about 1.5
hrs each.
My instinct is to wake her, to give her the sense that bedtimes and waketimes are taken care of — particularly if she has gotten the full 11 hours and is
napping 2 or 2 1/2
hrs a
day.
With the new routine she want from cat
naps to 3 - 4 1
hr naps and went from waking every hour or so to waking at 12 am, 4 am then wake up at 6 am and nurse before starting the
day.
