[28] Celibacy is far from a rejection of the deep meaning of sexuality, but a living of
human sexuality which is even fuller, more profound and complimentary to the extent that it explains the married vocation.
Obviously, all forms of
human sexuality which do not have procreation as their goal fall equally under this principle: masturbation, contraception, nongenital sexuality between husband and wife, homosexuality.

Sexuality has been for him a mode of
human activity through
which to explore society's present sterility and its future hope.
A gift, however, not a loan or a mere permission to use -
which is a travesty of the
human meaning or exercise of
