humans run the church.
Not exact matches
Many outside the
church view us as modern day Puritans — social control freaks who want to impose our morality on them and to oppress people by
running roughshod over
human rights.
Churches —
run by mere
human beings and therefore fallible by default — take upon themselves, or attempt to, glory and obedience AND relationship due only to God Himself.
This is an institution of a
human sort; it may come and go; and we are not to be conservative in the false sense of thinking that the various ways of the
Church's organizing its business and
running its parishes, are eternally established.
I wish
humans weren't flawed and that the
church ran the way it was intended.
The Roman Catholic

Human Services Department mandate that would force some Catholic institutions to provide health insurance coverage that includes contraception.
