hummus on sandwiches, in lieu of a spread, for snacking and my personal favorite — as a salad topper instead of dressing.

sandwich on the panini, with fresh veggies, fruit, pickled asparagus and
hummus.
I eat it with pita chips, fruit (apple slices + this
hummus = heaven) and veggies, and also spread it
on sandwiches like this one.

on it's own, and it also makes an excellent side dish for
hummus and vegetable
sandwiches.
I love arugula, whipped feta and pickled beet
sandwiches, adding jarred beets to homemade
hummus and adding a few drops of beet liquid to lemonade for a delicious take
on pink lemonade.

I make it all the time even for breakfast when there's not much to put
on a
sandwich — a nice organic spelt bread with a spread of
hummus, spinach leaves and tomato from the garden makes a perfect breakfast or lunch around here...

hummus and salsa in place of dressing.

sandwich was inspired by a favorite Richmond cafe that serves their slow - roasted tomatoes
on toasted bread with cucumber, sprouts, and
hummus.
Here are some nutritious foods that might sound good after the game: turkey and avocado

hummus, peanut butter
on graham crackers, yogurt with granola and fruit, cheese and crackers, egg salad and pita chips, pasta salad with veggies and chicken, tortilla with almond butter and banana.
My kids love cheese paired with apples, grapes or tomatoes, grilled cheese
sandwiches (esp Havarti with dill),
on fruit salad skewers, alongside rice crackers or a bowl of almonds or pecans, in a lettuce and
hummus wrap and of course
on top of creamy tomato soup or macaroni and cheese.
There are also a lot of baby - safe
hummus recipes available that can make for a nice alternative to fattier options such as mayonnaise
on a
sandwich.
