hundreds of blogs out there (thank you for taking your time with this one), there are thousands of Instagram accounts to follow.
Not exact matches
When you see that a
blog's articles have been shared
hundreds to thousands
of times, and see that 20K
of your peers are signed up for a newsletter, you may wonder what great information you are missing
out on if you don't subscribe too.
I've sent
out hundreds of emails over the past few years to promote articles on my
blogs and in this article, I'll share a few things I've learned that other experts don't usually mention when they talk about using email for content promotion.
What surprised me on this trip was that at every single event, one or two people would pull me aside and ask how I kept from getting discouraged by those big numbers that Mark Driscoll, and pastors like him, are always bragging about — the 10 million downloads, the enormous church planting network, the packed -
out services, the
hundreds of thousands
of blog visitors.
I created the site for healthy discussion that I felt was missing from the
hundreds of other Arsenal
blogs out there, and I refuse it to be taken over by purely negative thoughts.
There are
hundreds of ideas
out there (and this
blog itself is a great resource on learning) to develop skills and learning in toddlers and preschoolers.
I'm not entirely sure how this happened, though it may have had something to do with the
hundred - dollar bill I stapled to the application form, but e.politics has been chosen as one
of three finalists in the «Best
Blog — National Politics» category for this year's Golden Dot awards, to be given
out next week at the Politics Online conference.
Then comes the maelstrom
of thousands
of minutes
of air time and
hundreds of thousands
of words written in
blogs, books, and magazines, and voila, bottles are moving as quickly as manufacturers can churn them
out.

of this year, has only earned $ 36 in ad revenue; the site never has, and likely never will, earn its keep in ad revenue, but I keep it going because I know it's a valuable resource for authors and publishers - I've given away far more copies
of my novels than I've sold, because I'm a pushover for anyone who emails me to say s / he can't afford to buy them - I paid my own travel expenses to speak at this year's O'Reilly Tools
of Change conference, nearly $ 1000, just to be part
of the Rise
of Ebooks panel and raise awareness about self - published authors who are strategically leveraging ebooks - I judge in self - published book competitions, and I read the * entire * book in every case, despite the fact that the honorarium has never been more than $ 12 per book — a figure that works
out to less than $.50 per hour
of my time spent reading and commenting In spite
of all this, you still come here and elsewhere to insinuate I'm greedy and only
out to take advantage
of my fellow authors.
I can tell from my Amazon Associates report that a couple
of hundred people followed the link in my New Kindle
Blogs for Your Consideration post to check
out the page for this
blog, but that doesn't tell me if any
of them were moved to click for the trial once they got there.
I sent
out more than one
hundred press releases (not proud
of that), wrote twenty - something guest posts on other people's
blogs (am proud
of that — but those didn't drum up any sales), and tried every marketing tactic /» make your book pop!»
What started
out as a long
blog post has evolved into
hundreds of excellent questions that I'll answer now and throughout the New Year.
While authors can sign up with some
of these services without charge, most require a payment which can vary from $ 15 to several
hundred dollars for one day's inclusion in a daily email (you can find
out more about free promotions in my last
blog entry).
You know, my
blog has given me a tremendous platform to spread my influence in the field
of indie publishing, to send both my ideas and my own book designs
out into the world in the most practical way, influencing
hundreds of thousands
of people.
You didn't read this
blog back when the Bank
of America Alaska Airlines debit card was still available, so you missed
out on
hundreds of thousands
of free or cheap airline miles.
Keep in mind, even though the
blogs towards the bottom are the «least trafficked», they are still within the Top 150
out of hundreds and thousands
of travel
blogs out there on the internet (if not more!).
All in all,
hundreds of artists assembled lists
of blogs, newspapers, magazines and other outlets to pitch their art, and many
of them managed to get their first couple
of pitches
out last week.
The increases didn't come from the
hundred or so bottles he sent
out to U.K. bloggers who might
blog about it and get a few
of their friends to buy a bottle.
If your best shot against climateaudit is that,
out of the
hundreds of posts that I've made, you have found a comment by a computer consultant that you think is incorrect, I'll take that as a ringing endorsement
of the points made in this
blog.
