There's certainly a
lot of hype surrounding battle royale
games and everyone and their dog seems to be out
hunting for poultry prizes and victory royales.
You've got a
lot of carry over with gameplay ideas from previous
games like
hunting for animals and outpost liberation, with gunplay and combat being largely familiar.
There's
lots of returning
games like the batting cages, darts and various arcade titles, but we also get new
games like underwater
hunting, workouts and looking after babies!
Cabela's Survival: Shadows of Katmai looks a
lot less like the traditional Cabela
games you might be used to (e.g. Big
Game Hunter, Dangerous
Hunts) and morel like Naughty Dog's thid - person action series Uncharted.
I'm 25 + hours in and only at about a 60 % completion so you definitely get a
lot of playtime for your money if you are the type to
hunt down everything in the
game.
I still have a
lot of
game left to explore, high rank
hunts to complete, and even «High Rank Rewards» left to earn.

game, as the shibitos are very cunning, and will
hunt you down if you're spotted.
There's a story being told here and a
lot of chatterbox NPCs throwing page after page of dialogue at you but if you're like me you will be speed - reading, eager to get to the meat of the
game - the
hunt.
