hurt by pastors.
As a kid, I was deeply
hurt by the pastor of our church.

pastor yet to confess your sin of constantly flaunting your blessedly perfect church in front of groups of people — mostly strangers to you — who've been
hurt by their experiences in deceitful, toxic, dysfunctional, and / or spiritually - abusive churches?
Listen, I do not mitigate the fact that some folks have been
hurt greatly
by pastors and leaders.
If the
pastor has a keen awareness of what we have come to regard as the interpersonal
hurt of his patient; knows the desperate and yet fatal need of the patient to evade further pain, no matter
by what means, and often
by striking out and
hurting loved ones; feels something of the almost overwhelming and intolerable anxiety the patient experiences; is not too shaken
by the terror evoked through what Kierkegaard expressed as «shut - up - ness unfreely revealed»; and can accept the consequent intense feelings of guilt and shame which isolate the patient from himself, from others and from God, then his ministry has within it the necessary element for a supportive and creative experience for the patient.
Reminded of a
pastor that advertised on craigslist something like...» If you have been
hurt by the church I would like to talk with you».
I can not describe the depths of despair I endured watching my family so
hurt by those who declared love for us.8 years on and the pain still lives on and my faith is non existent!The church has grown and the
pastor travels all over the world preaching and being feted
by everyone.He is now high up in the G12 organisation doing very well thank you!!

pastor belong to the Church, either nominally or actively; some once belonged and have left; some have been
hurt by their experience in the Church; and some are seeking for the first time to become members of the Body of Christ.
However most who cry, «I was
hurt by the church /
pastor» are [in my experience] wimps who have not got their way or have had their feelings
hurt.

I am deeply offended at the amount a people, including
pastors of church who do nothing more that
hurt others
by stating we no longing have the word of God.

by citizens without any coordination from the campaign, but he was
hurt by videos of his former
pastor which were posted to YouTube.
