My
husband and I just bought new bikes a few weeks ago, and even though we can't use them as transportation since we live too far from any of our regular
errands, we
do take a nice relaxing ride every few days.
I wasn't eager to leave the house with a newborn and two toddlers, so for a few months I only
did errands if my
husband could watch at least one child.
But of course, with all the chores we had to
do and
errands we had to run over the weekend, my
husband and I still ended up exhausted.
I didn't hesitate whipping out this sweater for some
errands then a birthday visit with the
husband's Grandmother.
So it's not so much that it should have been
done differently — I just miss my first ever car and am thinking we probably aren't saving that much money in insurance since my
husband's truck (he was driving the Corolla for running
errands / etc.)
I «m a thankful person so it comes naturally to me — to thank my
husband every day — from taking out the trash, cooking dinner, giving me a massage, driving me to
do errands, for loving me, for understanding me, for being patient with me, for everything.
We
do provide steady, year round work as we
do get a lot of rentals, which is key to keeping housekeepers happy, and we offer extra work to them, their
husbands, etc when it is available - such as planting, plowing, mowing, spring yard clean up,
errands, we buy eggs for our guests from one of our housekeepers, that kind of thing.
