I had planned to stay up to see the ball drop, but I was so tired, I decided to go to bed and sleep next to my daughter until
my husband moved her to her bed.

This was a timely post, as my
husband and I are gradually testing the waters at
moving our daughter from our
bed to her crib....
Now that he's bigger and more aware, he wakes up
to the movement on the
bed when myself or my
husband moves around.
My
husband is the driving force for this decision, while I wonder how my daughter would respond... She still breastfeeds during day & night, we co-sleep and I don't really want
to move her into a separate
bed yet.
as she got older (more

husband to tired
to work) i
moved her crib in her room got a double
bed and continued this untill she rolled.
I will know immediately if they have health problems like breathing with difficulty or stuffy nose, cough, mosquito bites, etc... The older one is almost 7, going
to elementary school this year so we have started putting them in their own
beds though both my
husband and me go
to bed with them and
move away after they fall asleep.
Perks and her
husband thought if she
moved into her sister's room it would tempt her
to stay in her own
bed.
The co-sleeping went as far as 20 months at which point my
husband has had enough of rib - kicking that he said The Boy HAS
to move out of our
bed.
I forgot
to mention in my original comment that
moving my son
to his own
bed was a relief in one way for me: my
husband and I could go
to bed without fear of waking him up prematurely for whatever feed was next.
