Faux Mop Head
Hydrangea Stems, # 20 each, Oka.
I used dried hydrangea on my office tree and keeping with the hydrangea tree topper theme I added these white snowball
hydrangea stems to as a tree topper.
Four
hydrangea stems, and two dozen roses set me back about $ 30, and they are ridiculously easy to arrange at home.
My mantel was not large enough to tuck six
hydrangea stems, so I only used four.
On the left side, I used a green ceramic bird, a moss ball and a mason jar with
a hydrangea stem.
A simple clear vase with
a hydrangea stem was the centerpiece of this table.
Not exact matches
I use a trimmed
hydrangea as the base of the arrangement to help weave and hold the flower
stems in place.
I scored big time at the local florist with a sale on
hydrangeas by the
stem, lisianthus and larkspur.
For a decorative touch, the napkins are accented with a
stem of Larkspur that are similar in color to the
hydrangea centerpiece.
Oh, and that
hydrangea you see... before I took this picture, I saw that it had started to wilt so I read somewhere (most likely from Pinterest) that if you cut the
stem and place it in hot water, it will spruce right back up and sure enough, it did!
Broad
stems and sawtooth leaves showcase the oversize
hydrangea blooms beautifully.
Our designers captured the delicate beauty of lacecap
hydrangeas with watercolor - inspired floral bursts and long
stems.

Mingle greens — quirky Foxtail lilies, Boston fern fronds, Lime Rickey smooth
hydrangea and heuchera — with sherbet - coloured blooms — old cabbage roses and «Juliet» long -
stemmed David Austin roses — in a shallow fluted vessel.
Deborah chose a simple white vase and filled it with lavender and blue
hydrangeas, deep violet tulips, wisteria and a some faux
stems to add some fullness, and the result is WOW!
I used five
stems clipped from my
hydrangea bushes in my back yard.
Then to create this centerpiece I included 3 craft pumpkins, a basket with
hydrangeas, and 2
stems of dried
hydrangeas.
