This uses sensors, software and electro -
hydraulic actuators working through a multi-clutch plate to adjust the power and braking applied to each wheel all by itself.
A Los Angeles company has successfully tested an electromagnetic
actuator it claims will eventually make conventional auto suspensions obsolete.Aura Systems Inc. of El Segundo, Calif., has patented its
actuator in the United States, Japan and several European countries. The device
works with the repelling force of magnetism and would replace traditional gas or
hydraulic shock absorbers.
