I love my
Ipad pro which had an attached
keyboard and replaces my laptop often
as my work tool.
Apple's
iPads remain a staple mid-range model, and if you need to use your tablet for more advanced tasks, or want the added flexibility of a
keyboard, many are now equipped
as two - in - one devices.
I want something I can use
as a portable computer — I know my brother has managed to do that with his
IPad and a wifi
keyboard.
As with other
iPads, you can use any standalone Bluetooth
keyboard with an iPad Pro — and you might want to go that route, especially with the 12.9 - inch iPad Pro, given that adding a
keyboard case makes it heavier than some MacBooks.
We've seen people using
iPads with
keyboards as very lightweight laptop replacements, so an Android laptop could serve a similar function if you prefer Android to iOS (or if you can just get an Android device cheaper).
So, I'm not denigrating the
ipad pro, but everyone I know who owns one, uses it like I use my Surface Pro, with the
keyboard attached, and rarely
as a stand alone tablet.
