wedge salad, loaded down with lardons of bacon and a good bleu cheese dressing is a thing of beauty (and, like many others here, I usually eschew
iceberg lettuce, but I enjoy it this way)
I am not sure about
iceberg wedge (am not a fan of
iceberg,
wedge or not), but I have tried this dressing on a few things already (broccolini, shredded carrots, unidentifiable
lettuce, and just plain by itself) and I really like it.
However, one good thing about it is that
iceberg lettuce is probably very filling and has some good fibre, so if you fill up on that
wedge of
iceberg first you might be less likely to overindulge in something else.
I am excited abt this recipe... I LOVE
iceberg lettuce and silly me, while I often enjoy
wedges of it when I am not in the mood to prepare a whole salad for dinner, I have never enjoyed it
wedged WITH DRESSING!
for serving: corn tortillas, warmed (I melted the cheese on them while I warmed them in a hot skillet) romaine or
iceberg lettuce, shredded white onion, diced Monterey Jack or pepper jack cheese, shredded salsa or pico de gallo cilantro, chopped lime

Cut the
