The hundred photographs in the exhibition
include: spontaneous portraits of legendary today
artists, actors, and musicians, cultural events, people that currently we would call them
iconic, and intimate moments that caught Hopper's attention, constitute a captivating view of the 60s and 70s that combines political idealism and human optimism and the and the contrast between the hard work of the (ordinary) people and the Hippie revolutionary dream.
Highly edited, it concentrated exclusively on Lucas's sculpture, and admitted only three works from the 1990s,
including the
iconic Au Naturel (1994; the slumped mattress that harbours a cucumber - and - melons scenario of sexual hilarity) but not the work that remains emblematic of the
artist's YBA heyday — Two Fried Eggs and a Kebab (1992), the table adorned with foodstuffs that stand in for breasts and genitals.

The collection of portraits of Members of the Royal Academy

Coinciding with MoMA's Broodthaers retrospective, Kasmin offers an unprecedented show in the U.S.
including 20
artist books created between 1957 — 1975, and 26 editioned works from 1964 — 1975 — plus an
iconic installation featuring a living African gray parrot and an audio loop of the
artist reciting his poetry.
The 26 minute film
includes an insight into some of Hirst's most

I'm pleased that this major exhibition in the USA will be considering the pivotal contribution of British
artists to Pop: Pallant House Gallery has a significant collection of British Pop Art and we will be lending Richard Hamilton's
iconic Hers is a Lush Situation (1957) to the exhibition, which will also consider the global emergence of Pop from the 1950s to the 1970s (
including Nouveau réalisme in France, Neo-Concretism in Brazil and Neo-Dada in Germany).
Additional highlights

artist's
iconic series of 18 Frauen (Women), which tripled its estimate to realise # 3,749,000.

Her museum - quality assemblage of fine art

Serving as the Art Center's director for more than three decades, Martin Friedman significantly expanded the Walker's permanent collection, acquiring a number of
iconic works by
artists including Andy Warhol and Chuck Close.
In addition to his newly commissioned Bob Rauschenberg puppet / installation and related opening night performance, the exhibition will also
include a selection of the
artist's now
iconic and humorous «Word» paintings, as well as a series of recent watercolor drawings and collages produced during Wayne White's month - long Robert Rauschenberg Foundation Residency on Captiva Island in 2013.
The new collection presentation
includes iconic works by ao Kazimir Malevich, Piet Mondrian, Gerrit Rietveld, Barnett Newman, Yves Klein, Roy Lichtenstein and art from the 1980s to the present day, featuring work by Jeff Koons, Anselm Kiefer, Nan Goldin, Marlene Dumas and Marinus Boezem, as well as a selection of works from the joint acquisition by the Stedelijk Museum and MOTI Breda of work by digital
artists,
including artworks by Jan Robert Leegte and Rafaël Rozendaal.
A number of cast bronze sculptures that appropriate objects from outside of the Western canon will also be on view,
including Gamelan Figures, Naga Effigy, and Little Dancer (all from 2017); as well as Monochromes after Van Gogh Sunflowers: 1 - 12 (2015) in which the
artist makes use of pixelation to produce a series of monochromatic panels where the individual colors are derived from Van Gogh's
iconic paintings.
