The steps guide teams through three phases — prepare, inquire, and act — and outline the key tasks involved in building the skills necessary for looking at data,
identifying a problem of practice, developing an action plan, and assessing to what extent it succeeds in improving student learning.

identified a problem of practice, have been collaborating on an improvement project, and have some outcomes to share from your experience, EPPC 2016 will be a great place to present.
Teams selected to participate will be expected to
identify a problem of practice that they intend to work on during the program.
Through short monthly meetings, rotated across the schools, members of the translation team function as research brokers to support each of the schools to engage with science of learning research and researchers relevant to a school -
identified problem of practice.
To enable aspiring and practicing educational leaders to inquire effectively in order to
identify a problem of practice that can focus a school's professional learning efforts on the needs of students of color and those situated in poverty.
Participants will
identify a problem of practice that aligns to their chosen equity pathway (STEAM, Community and Family Engagement, Underserved Populations, Teacher Leadership).

Identifying a Problem of Practice.
School Leaders and Executive Coach Planning: The coach and school leader discuss key focus areas,
identify a problem of practice and mutually agree on objectives for improvement.
If we are observing to
identify a problem of practice, what are we looking for and how do we know it and differentiate it?
They worked with teachers to
identify problems of practice, and they showed that they were well prepared to offer specific, actionable, and research - based solutions.
Some experienced teachers, unless they are intrinsically interested in a technology or already have
identified a problem of practice, may not be willing or able to spend additional time to identify ways to use the technology unless they have a starting point, as scaffolded connections provide.

problems early and have a well - conceived plan for addressing and removing unintended bias before it leads to discrimination in their lending

of interventions found to be effective and understanding what it takes to implement those components with fidelity to the program model is critical to successful replication and scale - up
of effective programs and
practices in different community contexts and populations.7 There is growing recognition in the early childhood field
of the importance
of effective implementation and the need for implementation research that can guide adoption, initial implementation, and ongoing improvement
of early childhood interventions.8, 9,10 The promise
of implementation research and using data to drive program management is compelling because it offers a potential solution to the
problem of persistent gaps in outcomes between at - risk children and their more well - off peers.
Government could use parliamentary committees to look at proposals and
identify problems in advance — pre-legislative scrutiny in
practice doesn't match its current remit, and there is a need to bring back «in - house» a lot
