BOSTON --- A recently published study in the Journal
of the American Geriatrics Society has found that using CT scans to evaluate early
signs of hyperkyphosis (extreme forward curvature
of the upper spine) in people over age 50 does not help to
identify those at risk
of subsequent physical function
decline.
In order to
identify when someone may have an addiction there are a number
of warning
signs to pay attention to, such as increased secrecy, withdrawing from family and friends, fatigue or insufficient sleep, failure to meet responsibilities, a
decline in health, defensiveness about behaviors related to the addiction, mood shifts, and demanding more privacy.
