The phrase
"idiot lights" refers to warning lights or indicators in a vehicle that highlight potential problems or malfunctions. These lights are called
"idiot lights" because they are designed to be simple and easy to understand, even for someone who may not have much knowledge about cars. They often light up when something is wrong with the vehicle to alert the driver.
