If we start this season with those two
in our starting 11 it will be a clear sign from this organization that nothing has changed and that we will never get it right until both Kroenke and Wenger are gone... neither one of these players should still be with our club
at this
point because they represent the settling half - measures that have plagued this team for a number of
years... this is what I call the «no man's land» of the soccer world, where teams don't have enough talented young players, unlike a Monaco or Dortmund, because they have lost the plot from an organizational standpoint... they are so reliant on one individual to run the whole operation that their once relevant scouting department has become so antiquated that it can no longer find those hidden gems it once had... furthermore, when you leave all decision - making to a manager who despises any dissenting opinions, your management team becomes little more than a stagnant group of «yes men» and no new ideas emerge... so instead of developing a team with the qualities necessary to excel
in a particular system, you continually make half - brain purchases
year after
year to stifle dissent from the ticket - buying public, then try desperately to finagle together a lineup regardless of what would make positional sense... have you ever heard of a team who plays players out of position so often... of course not because that manager would likely be fired and never work for a team of any consequence ever again

nice to see you crawl out of your hole just
in time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before Wenger arrived on the scene and will continue to do so long after he's gone...
in his earlier
years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which
at that
point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class players into the fold without being fearful of how said players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10
years ago and culminated
in the removal of all our greatest players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming
in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy to see that this club was no longer interested
in competing
at the highest levels... instead of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose to side with management and
in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending to be a world - class soccer club... without the «front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous
years earlier, so his presence was imperative
if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion
in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many
years but as long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and
if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow
By far the best article I have ever read on this site, there was no bias or empty statements, just cold hard facts, the writer even respected wengers budget but still
pointed to where he should've improved, there are no excuses, what you read is literrally all u get with arsene,
if you gave him a budget of 9m or 1 billion, he will ALWAYS take the risk cause he doesn't give a fk about the consequences as
if he was a teenager raging through puberty, his stubborn is absolutely pathetic, can you believe he turned down signing a keeper when almunia was shocking, can you believe he didn't sign a CB when squillaci was awful, can you believe that he REFUSED to sign a CDM for almost 8
years, CAN you believe on one of the most important transfer windows of arsenals history, arsene decided to go host charity matches
in rome, that's right instead of trying hard for the fans that have respected him and pay him one of the highest managerial wages
in the world, he decided to do what he pleased as usual, cause he doesn't answer to anyone, nor does he giving a flying fk, gazidis a man i thought was also a crook went and did arsene's job for him and
at least got us a striker (which cost us the title
in january last season) and arsene foolishly proclaims that «
if i was here we wouldn't of signed danny» meaning we wouldn't of had ANY recognised cf till giroud recovered, arsene wenger is a joke of the highest order, lack of respect, lack of shame and lack order, i despise him
I have disliked your generally fair comments, purely because
if Arsenal are to sign Wilshere down to a new contract, it must be now (or certainly before Christmas
at very latest) I do take your
point about provingconsistent perfs BUT his ability is not
in question after his many
years here and frankly, he has now not the time to prove long term consistency until he is a first choice regular — as I think he must soon be — and we need to tie him down to a contract now (or within a few weeks) or let him go.
Arsenal will NEVER catch Spurs

point gap.4 THE END OF WENGER
AT ARSENAL!Wenger has spoken
in the past about how he might have stepped down had Arsenal not beaten Hull
in the FA Cup final
in 2014 to end a nine -
year trophydraught.Well the same must surely apply this season
if he allows Spurs to win and for Spurs / Leicester to overtake his team and win the title.
Let's face it goalkeepers tend to march to the beat of a different drum and Szczesny certainly fell into that category, but most of his antics were relatively harmless and simply reflected a certain level of immaturity that isn't uncommon for someone thrust into the limelight
at such a young age... lord knows we've seen that happen with numerous players throughout the
years and very few were ever banished for such behaviour... the only on - field action that drove me crazy was his inability to take a deep breath and not try to rush the play with an ill - timed throw
at certain
points in the game when common sense suggested holding the ball and slowing things down... the fact that he continued to do this probably had a lot to do with the glaring lack of coaching time spent with the goalkeepers... ultimately he made the fateful decision to take his frustrations out into the public sphere and paid dearly for it...
in the end, his services were wanted by several of the best Italian squads, which is significant considering the historical importance placed on the defensive side of the ball
in Serie A... all I know is that
if someone asked me to pick the most athletically gifted goalkeeper we have had
in our squad since the arrival of Wenger, without hesitation, he would be my pick and for that reason his departure is more than a little disappointing... what else is new though
They have a shelf life of 8/10
years at the very top
if they are lucky so who can begrudge them the opportunity to make hay whilst the sun is shining... am not saying Sanchez is not money driven but the way the guy plays i can mortgage my life he actually enjoys the game, enjoys wining first and foremost then money comes 2nd... like the author of the article rightly
pointed out, he was
in Messi's shadow
at Barca and could not express himself fully, now he is
at a club where he is the main man and given a free role and license to express himself and i very much doubt
if he will want to go to a club like Madrid (as been rumoured
in the dailies today) to relieve the bad experience he suffered
at Barca because let us face facts, he is never going to displace CR7 as the main man, so even
if Madrid sells Benzema or Bale to make room for him he will be back to the same position he was
at Barca, this time he will be playing 2nd fiddle to CR7 so my guess is all the Madrid talks is been fed the press by his agents to drive a hard bargain when contract extension talks resumes.....
l still cant belive how bad we are i really thought we would be good this
year no CL to tire out the best and a free run
at the league... What a fool i was id like to say sorry to all Arsenal fans who i may have disagreed with your posts before i admit im wrong tho id love Wenger to prove the world wrong and win the league its not happing no matter how much i want it No
point us fighting with each other when we all want the same even
if differnet ways but you guys know deep doen we need a new Manager and some one who will kick the lasy ass bitches we have playing for 1000s pounds each week up the dam arse and make them earn what they get paid... lf someone
in my job did nt do there bit i tell u wouldnt be working long.
At this
point I would be completely shocked
if Cech doesn't come as this is probably the most legit rumor to come out involving us
in years.
if the Ox was played to either showcase his skills or to increase any potential bids because of his perceived importance to our starting 11, this was an incredibly risky move that could have cost us dearly... imagine
if he was injured or played poorly, like he did, and this negatively impacted our ability to get the best available deal... more importantly, why was Wenger willing to play someone who obviously wants out
in such an important game under false pretenses... this kind of behaviour might be less offensive
in April, when things are done and dusted, but to do this following a loss against a supposed main rival that pipped us for fourth by a
point last
year, could be considered
at best inappropriate and
at worst treasonous... we can't afford to let this coach make business decisions on game day, which has gone on for far too long
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the
years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute...
if you look
at our current players, very few would make sense
in the traditional Wengerian system...
at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes
in the same clinical fashion we did
years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess
in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself
in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required
in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last
year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling
in the off - season,
if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple
years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some
points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis
in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless
at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself
in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him
in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive
in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players
in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence
in Real or the space and protection he receives
in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived
in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components...
in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them
in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion
in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit...
if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin
in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation...
in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some
years but that could all change soon,
if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often
in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and
in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and,
at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place
in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
At the risk of getting bashed I am not entirely sure he is «World Class» either, but he has clearly been our best player for most of the year and would probably have been better lately if he had gotten a bit of rest in at some point in the middle of the seaso

With 90 minutes gone of Arsenal's game
