This game is only targeting next - gen platforms, as the rumored second Assassin's game, codenamed Comet, is supposedly only being developed for PS3 / 360, and
if this early footage is any indication of the graphical fidelity in store for this game, this is going to look stunning.
Leading up the development of the game is Hiroshi Yoshimura, known for his work on the God Eater series, and
if early footage is any indication, Yoshimura and his team seem to have a firm grasp on what makes the Soulsborne genre so appealing to fans.

At a climactic concert at a party, rows of listeners can be seen gliding off in separate directions as
if on separate mind journeys, and in a much
earlier surreal sequence featuring newsreel war
footage in a cafe, the narrator, reading a letter, can be seen rising with his chair like a film director seated on a crane, all the way to the top of the room, where he encounters his own childhood self running a projector — an image that might be traced, like much else, to one of Proust's extended descriptive passages.
If it was pre-alpha, fair enough, we couldn't assume too much, but we have a master copy beta (not in an
early stage), and quite a bit of gameplay
footage.
The first
footage from Annihilation was shown at CinemaCon
earlier this year and seemed to leave a strong impression on those who saw it - meaning, VanderMeer isn't the only one suggesting that Garland's next sci - fi offering could be as good as (
if not better than) his acclaimed work on Ex Machina.
In fact, one thing of note, is that a lot of the
footage comes from the Japanese Demo, which,
if I remember correctly, Eurogamer stated as being from an
earlier build of the game.
But
if nothing else, stick around long enough to see the 8 - bit prototype the team created, as well as
footage of an
early game concept that included an alien invasion of Hyrule straight out of Independence Day.
Early gameplay
footage of Uncharted 4, on the other hand, looks like it is taking that franchise to the next level, even adding entirely new types of set pieces, so it will be a great shame
if one of Xbox's flagship series fails to deliver more than what Gears of War 3 did.

early footage of The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct was revealed, Activision went dark on releasing any video of the zombie shooter until today when it unleashed its first official trailer a scant month and a half before its release on 29th March (or 26th March,
