Sometimes I think
if number scores were removed from game reviews tomorrow, there would be riots — not from publishers seeking high meta averages but from the casual gamer that has gotten used to game reviews, marketing, and hype campaigns instructing them on what to think about game media.

There are so many issues that the memory fades from many of them, however I always thought the Suarez debarcle was one of the worst, Regardless of
if Suarez was an «Arsenal Player» or not noone can doubt that he would have
scores all of the goals that welbeck, Walcott and Giroud have missed and
scored a
number on top of that had he played for the AFC, the problem came with the desultory bid of $ 6 million plus a pound, this was always going to get right up the liverpool owners nose and was an insult from the offset in my mind this was done deliberately by Wenger and the board in order to say to the AFC fans that «well we tried to get him but....»

if we ignore the 11 penalties he

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute...
if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of
scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season,
if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't
score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit...
if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon,
if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the
numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
this window has just finished i am already thinking about who we will get for the january window we might try for khedira on a really low offer as he is free agent almost would help boost
numbers in midfield in the new year as we will no doubt need to filling the
numbers about then also i will hold my hands up and say i was wrong this morning for giving wenger stick and saying welbeck is rubbish i have been out in the cold light of day and had a chance to reevaluate the situation and realized that this could be a canny shrew transfer on wenger behalf actually
if wenger can turn the clock back and work his magic on welbeck and get him
scoring goals and improve his game then we could have a great underrated signing on our hands its wengers absolute trust in him that might be what makes him a great player as this is something that he never had at old mordor
if anybody can make him a world beater wenger can he loves this little pet projects improving players against the odds welbeck has the skillset to be high class player upfornt he just needs to work very hard on his finishing i think once he gets a few goals under his belt he will settle in fine and he is a team player you could put him on the left against man city to shore up that side and he will put in a great shift without a complaint that could be his biggest asset to us or on the right whenever we need him there ithinkwenger might start himon the left against city to protect the left back against navas and i bet you
if he does a great job we will take a shine to him quickly i am hopeing he will be one of those wenger gems that he finds and polishes up to a high finish i must admit i was annoyed as some other gunners were at not signing d / m and c / h but
if wenger does win the league with this lot it will be his greatest win yet and what might play in to our hands is the unpredictable nature of the league in the last few seasons
if we get on a good run at the right time we might be hard to stop look at city they should have never lost to stoke but the result is there in black and white for all to see and i think chelsea will hit the skids after a while to just because cesc and costa are doing well now thats there main threat but teams will work out how to stop them as the season goes on and chelsea will become predictable i think we might just do well this season after all
You should have no trouble keeping
score if you remember that a strike (all ten pins with one ball) entitles you to 10 plus the

number of pins you knock down with the next ball.
Forwards — again
numbers wise probably enough but I think we lack one more goal scorer I think only Alexis Giroud and Walcott
if fit will offer more than 15 + goals in a season although the rest of the team will
score many goals.
people are going on about the
number of goals he
scored or lack of them more precisely but morata for the majority of the season was used as an impact player / sub, also like the writer mentioned as both RM&JUVE he was overshadowed by great players / stars so
if if he were to sign for us knowing that he is the 1st choice striker he could flourish and surprise us all!!

if we had KdB instead of Özil, there won't be any difference with regards to the
number of goals we
score, heck, I'm willing to to bet it's going to take a turn for the worse..........
unless we are planning to sell jack, Ramsey, Carzola, or even coquelin i don't get these transfer... who do we play where??? We had no problem in midfield last season (in my opinion) but
if we are doing these just for the
numbers then am ok with it... Our real problem is the No. 9 position... Guys theres a reason strikers cost and are paid higher than other players... A striker who
scores at - least a goal in three good chances created is exactly what we need
This is very interesting.I look at the
number of striking options in our team and i wonder how Wenger will be signing a cf.However as i keep saying a cf is a need not a want. And needs are more important than wants. We have needed a World class cf since Robin Van P. Left.Just look at the feeling you get when you have a world class goalkeeper e.g Cech in the team. You feel relieved you know why?Its because the goalkeeper is very reliable, very talented and consistent.Imagine the feeling you would have when having a world class cf in the team. You feel very relieved you know why?its because the cf is very consistent, is super talented, will at most times finish off chances and will mostly create moments of magic.Arsenal need a world class cf so as to have that sense of reliability and to not put too much pressure on the midfield to always create chances for them.We neeed that consistency infront of goal to excel.Right now arsenal's centre forwards are very inconsistent, unreliable at most times and are not very clinical. We need a world class striker so that at least
if the team is not performing he can take control and do something out of nothing. You need to understand the benefits of having a world class cf its not just about goals or talent but about being a leader of the attack, a strong
scoring mentality and also the will to be consistent.World class cf's give your attack the ish factor.
If your football team
scores a
number of points...
Overly reliant on Alexis Sanchez for goals this season, Arsenal could really benefit from Ramsey
scoring again, and it will be far harder to play against the Gunners
if they have players to hurt the opposition from a
number of different parts of the pitch.

There was a record amount of goal attempts by Arsenal yesterday against Sunderland, and Mesut Ozil created a record
number of chances, but I just have to give the MOTM to Alexis Sanchez, who
scored two goals but could have
scored loads
if it wasn't for a few misses and a world class performance by Jason Pickford.
Although Liverpool star Mane missed 10 league games for Jurgen Klopp's side last season, the Senegalese international still managed to
score 13 and assisted six in the league for the Merseyside club, and
if the midfielder manages to improve on the
numbers he achieved last year, it wouldn't be surprising to see the winger claim a place in the PFA TOTS.
I am not a ozil fan and i have also said he was not needed when he was bought, i will admit he has improved in his defensive work, however Ozil occupies the
number 10 position in the arsenal team, some would say its the Fabregas position, but i would beg to differ its the Bergkamp position and
if you are in this position you not only create goals, but
score a a few and also take on defenders which create space for other players.
If he's going to
score the
number of goals that Alexis does and work as hard as he does for the team, then I'd say an equivalent transfer fee would be viewed as justified.

If you go back to the start of last season, Wondolowski, bolstered by his MLS tying record of 27 goals in 2012 and his eight consecutive seasons
