Antonio Banderas shows up to provide some
comic spark, as does Kelsey Grammer for some reason, and
if you've avoided the marketing entirely,
other veteran action stars pop up for «surprise» cameos that mostly just extend the running time.
If Marvel makes the movie according to the
comics then our Avengers team should also have my favorite «Deadpool», «Wolverine» and
other X-Men, Fantastic 4 members in the movie.
If we met Minnie, the protagonist of Marielle Heller's adaptation of Phoebe Gloeckner's 2002 graphic novel The Diary of a Teenage Girl in any
other comic book adaptation, she'd most likely be the high school siren and love interest.
And even
if Cable was always going to be Brolin's
other comic book turn of 2018, he still gets some seismic smackdowns and nicely tetchy one - liners.
On the
other hand,
if you couldn't care less about being grossed out, snickering at Hollywood gossip, or laughing at a random
comic book references, this isn't the film for you.
Some fans are calling for Shuri to become Iron Heart (the Riri Williams version of Iron Man from the
comics), while
others want to wait and see
if Shuri will become a Black Panther herself.
Slo - motions, close - ups, wide angles, and
other creative uses of the camera made me feel as
if I was flipping through a
comic instead of watching a movie.
