If you aren't 100 % strict Paleo, go ahead and add a little bit of
peppermint candy; I won't tell anyone.

I made this and added
peppermint drops to make a mint frosting, put that between two layers of chocolate cake (
if you can do chickpeas / garbanzo beans I have a good chocolate cake recipe for you) then I made tour chocolate frosting, let it cool a bit and poured and spread over the cake, into the fridge until the chocolate stiffened and After Eight cake was enjoyed by all.

peppermint essential oil

peppermint flavor, stir in a drop or two at a time until you reach the
peppermint flavor that you prefer.
If you prefer to skip the booze, just use 1/2 teaspoon of
peppermint extract and decrease the flour to 2 cups.

peppermint go really well together, but
if you don't want chocolate cookies you can replace the cocoa powder with the same amount of flour!
If you want the icing mint flavored and / or colored, add in
peppermint extract and food colorings.
If you are a
peppermint hot chocolate lover than simply add a drop of your favorite food safe
peppermint oil or a tad bit of some
peppermint extract and boom you have
peppermint hot chocolate!
If you do want to add
peppermint extract, only 1/2 tea.
I used dried spearmint but you could use dried
peppermint if that's all you have.
