I would never be able to justify spending $ 700 / night for a hotel room
if I had to pay out of pocket; luckily
travel hacking allows you to do things and enjoy unique experiences you normally wouldn't be able to.
If you like to
travel occasionally (but in the front of the plane), you are probably better off maximizing a few good reward credit cards than poring a lot of time into
travel hacking.
Noise - cancelling headphones are a prime
travel hack because they act as your music listening device, but also could double for some peace and quiet
if you want to get your snooze on.
I always find it annoying when bloggers treat being married as a
travel hack, but
if you participated in Priceless Surprises with a partner / child / dog, you might have enough points for 4 nights at one of those properties.
