I'm
agnostic / atheist but I'd just like to say that the
ignorance of other atheists is embarrassing — just to clear something up the cause
of most wars is not religion, certainly not over the past 100 years.
It seems to me that the natural state
of ignorance in reference to the question
of the existence
of God should lead one to adopt an
agnostic viewpoint, not the atheist worldview.
Thus in dealing with the real human problems, such as the relief
of suffering, the adjustment
of personality, the release from fear and
ignorance, the care
of the physically or mentally defective or
of the aged and infirm, there is nearly always a desperate shortage
of living agents, and among their small number the cozily non-committed
agnostic is very rarely to be found.

of americans are christian, which means the majority
of religious
ignorance atheists /
agnostics have to deal with is from christians, not buddhists.
