people, respect all life and give everybody their dignity, give my
time and resources to help others, complain little, hurt nobody, want minimal things for myself and often go without, sacrifice for family, friends and community, but because I do not think there is a deity in the sky, I'm going to Hell while some selfish,
ignorant, mean, destructive, abusive and hateful
person who says, «Sorry» to God
at the end of their life goes to Heaven.

«god» was so responsible in making that «provision» for being «saved» that «he» waited tens of thousands of years after modern man arrived on this planet (dooming countless generations to «hell» because they didn't have a chance), and then on top of that «he» implemented «his» «provision» in the middle of a freakin» desert in a
time when there was no Internet and
at a
time when those
ignorant goatherding
people thought the world was flat (thereby dooming countless more generations of
people to «hell» because there was no way, for example, to even get the message to what would become the Americas 15 centuries later).
Religion is just
people trying to explain their problems in some
ignorant way while
at the same
time trying to become «part of something bigger:» a connection with some illogically omnipotent being.
They were parables and analogies made up to tell an
ignorant and illiterate
people to bolster a religion that
at the
time was competing with many others for dominance and adherents.
If you think wearing Guy Fawkes masks is relevant you are obviously
ignorant of the history of the English and European Reformation, the fact is the English Crown, and its
people had won its freedom from the tyranny and oppression of Rome and the
people were scared of losing it again, as had happened in the mercifully short reign of Queen Mary the 1st, Henry the 8th daughter by Catherine of Aragon (also known as Bloody Mary) the opression of Protestants in that
time was terrible approx 300 were burnt
at the stake.
I'm reminded of Gove's famous «
people have had enough of experts», except that clearly they haven't because they are crying out for information and clarity, but
at the same
time seem to have taken on - board his message that their own
ignorant opinions are somehow more important than expert ones.
But the thought
at the
time was something like, «We're not gonna not tell jokes amongst each other just because some
ignorant person might get confused.»
It's amazing how many
people can be so naive, gullible,
ignorant and paranoid
at the same
time without being even remotely aware of it.
