As with other Android 3.0 builds I've seen, this model suffers from the same
image rendering issue - which causes images to look blurry — I've observed in the Gallery app on Android 3.0 tablets.

The
image rendering and pixelated text
rendering issues I've observed on all three (Motorola Xoom, T - Mobile G - Slate, and now Acer Iconia Tab) make me increasingly wonder just how hard (or, intensive) is it for Google's OS to properly
render these elements.
In comiXology,
issues are already arranged as a continuos series of panels, as opposed to pages of panels, and a reader swipes not only from panel - to - panel but from
images to words, that is, where a panel includes narration or dialogue one swipe
renders the drawings while a second materializes the words.
The recent update fixes several
issues relating to missing content, improper width and height to

images, incorrect top margin, etc. iPhone / iPad book opening

More critically, I experienced some
issues with the display and

The surface texture, weight, thickness, feel — the way it
renders an
image or original artwork and the
issues associated with archival permanence are all factors worth considering.
In an age where, because of technological advance, the veracity of the photographic
image has long been cast into doubt and reality and history are easily manipulated to appear «real», Douglas employs a large format and an almost hallucinatory sharpness, the result of digital
rendering, to question authorship, reality and the truth and meaning behind what we see — truth within the medium of photography and within the political and sociological
issues that underpin the scenes his photographs portray.
The exhibition is a reminder that visual art can play an essential role in ensuring that women's
issues, and women's bodies (as
imaged by women themselves), are not
rendered invisible.
