I checked the file on a number
of other Kindles;
quality was
acceptable on most (though on several the inset
image was miniscule), except for the Kindle for iOS app, and my old Kindle DX, which looked like this:
Both Capogrossi and Damian (especially Capogrossi) seemed to be interesting and sort
of acceptable here because
of their (well, in the case
of Capogrossi) quite original
image — in the case
of Damian because
of a rather rough
quality that made him pretty close to (or rather made him seem pretty close to) American painting, not the precious kind
of European painting that we didn't like any more.
For example, an infringer might be damaging the
image of the brand by selling inferior products under a confusingly similar sign; or (even though the product is
of an
acceptable quality), significant sales are being diverted, and so damaging the potential profitability
of the IP rights holder.
Gradient performance is
acceptable, but there is a grainy
quality to the extreme dark edges
