It's hard to find pure vanilla extract for Passover, what's commonly available is
imitation vanilla extract made with artificial flavors and chemicals.

However, if you are comparing it to the
imitation vanilla extract (aka flavored grey water) then
making this at home will cost you more.
When buying
vanilla extract make sure that it's labeled «pure», and stay away from the ones labeled «
imitation»
vanilla extracts as they are
made with synthetic
vanilla and leave a bitter after taste.
Make sure your
vanilla extract is fresh PURE
vanilla, not
imitation, as that could give an «off» flavor.
Combine 10 drops
vanilla (I use
vanilla extract; you probably have some in your kitchen already — just
make sure it's real and not
imitation vanilla extract), 4 drops cinnamon (spicy and warming), 4 drops sweet orange (refreshing, uplifting and calming), and 2 drops lavender (calming).
I
made these using plain flour, and one cup almond milk, and Orgran egg replacer and added blueberries and a splash of
imitation vanilla extract.
