of these abstract concepts will require learners to apply these
skills to their daily work, but since these concepts are abstract, the
immediate application is not always clear for learners.
In alignment with adult learning theory, content that has relevance and
immediate application to educator practices seems to be important to the implementation
of information and
skills gained within the professional development processes.
